I had a hard time with the electric shifter attached to the shift lever so we moved it to the linkage up on the motor. The linkage has less of a throw so the shifter finds gears easy, not missed a shift yet. Did this also because we attached a reverse gear to the tranny. But to put this bike in reverse it has to be in neutral. I am still working on funding neutral. I use 2 hand and push down on both red and green shift buttons about half way. Takes a few times but usually i find reverse that way. i will throw in a picture of the complete bike too.
