Beach ride in August

This kid came running up saying "I like your bike!!" He asked about it and took our picture and asked how I got in a wheelchair.

HOG rally at Harley shop

Harley Owners Group rally ended at 101 Harley shop after they rode from Pendleton down thru Bend and Medford then over here to Coos Bay. I am a member but did not go for this ride but met them at their last stop. There was good food and prizes and at least a couple hundred people all laughing and having a great time. Most of them came by and had something to say about the bike. One guy knew the people I got the sidecar mounts from in Iowa, Motorvation. Another guy took one look at the bike and noticed the aircraft struts we used on the subframe. Some painters admired the ghost flames too. I bet the bike was the single most photographed subject last night.

Some great rides this summer

2010 Oregon Country Fair

Rode to Fair this year got to park up front. The bike attracted alot of attention. Got comments on the paint job and over all design. One lady came up and said the bike was Flip Flip as if that was its name. The fair itself was nice and realaxing rode home through Eugene and I5, the bike did great. Lots of gawkers lost track of how many people we passed with their cell phones out taking photos of the bike.

The Stick Lady

This is a local craftsperson who has been in the area forever. She sits on the street and sells walking sticks and has a foot operated sewing machine. She made a cover for the speedometer hole on the gas tank and something to put between the bar clamps on the bike where the handle bars used to be.

Bykes 4 Tykes poker run june 2010

Had a nice poker run yesterday got rained on in coquille but the bike got through it ok. Here are some photos of the bikes in at the green spot, coquille right before the rain hit and then down at the tioga building. Also a picture of the boss hoss 502 V8. I used to race motorcross with this guy back in the day but we have graduated to a life of leisure.

First bike show had a great time. People asked tons of questions and took a lot of photos. Show was in another town so had a great ride that morning.
